Leeson Bridge Guest house was a great place to stay. The room was lovely, clean and had a fantastic view of the surrounding area. The breakfast was a very good continental style breakfast with lots of choice, a good start to the day The hotel staff were friendly and offered good advice on transport into the centre of Dublin and how to get to attractions. The hotel is within walking distance of the St Stephens Green area, but there are regular buses from outside the hotel which will take you to OConnell Street, Trinity College and Temple Bar areas for around 1 euro. Would recommend this hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very good value for money, very clean and friendly. The breakfast was noted to be continental style, but there was a huge variety of foods available. i would wholeheartedly recommend the Leeson and intend to use it on a regular basis.

Very convenient location as we were going to Eye and Ear Hospital early in the morning and it is just 5 mins walk from the Guest House. The location is great for bus connections as bus stop to city centre virutally outside the door. We didnt have a car this visit so cant comment about car parling facilities but youd need to check that as only all parking meters with on-street parking. We didnt need to use the kitchenette in the room but it would be great if you were staying for a few days and didnt want to eat out all the time. Only negative I have is that our room was very warm in night despite no heating on and as we had windows looking out on to busy roads and junction on two sides of room, it was not feasible to leave windows open during the night as noise would have been way too much to sleep with.

We were extremely satisfied with the guesthose, in every aspect.- On the very first day in Dublin I had the bad luck of falling backwards on the street and fracturing my wrist.- The owner of the guesthouse, Mr. Derrick, was exceptionally kind and helpful, as were the other members of the very competent staff.

We only scheduled to stay one night but wished it could have been more. The Leeson Bridge is idealy situated for the centre of Dubln by foot or bus, and also the airport coaches. The interior is clean and pleasant and the rooms well furnished, with plenty of fare at breakfast too. All staff appeared friendly and eager to help with queries. Overall our stay was faultless, hence the excellent rating above for a hotel at this price level.

We had a business encounter rather short term, so we were glad to get a room for a reasonable price last minute. Our expectations were not very high, but the hotel has already had good reviews, so we booked. And the Leeson Bridge Guesthouse exceeded all expectations. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was at third floor, but the hotel has a lift. The room was nice and clean, with fitted carpet, LCD-TV, boiler, iron, hairdryer, alarm clock and a selection of tea and instant coffee. The bathroom was ok, the toilet was clean and seemed to be desinfected, but a bit too small for big sized persons. The shower curtain was a bit too short and not completely clean, but nothing big. The ventilator was a really good fitment, since it was quite warm. The breakfast was served as a continental buffet, with a really huge selection bread, rolls, juice, coffee, tea, sausage, cheese, croissants, cakes, cookies etc. and without limit. Great. After check-out we could leave our luggage in a separate room for the day, since our flight was in the evening. The aircoach stops right outside the hotel as well as several lines of regular bus. A SPAR market is 50m across the street. We had a really pleasant stay and would recommend the Leeson Bridge Guesthouse, especially for the price we paid: 69 Euro + 10 Euro pre-check-in fee.

This was our second trip to Dublin, so we knew our way around, but had not stayed at Leeson Bridge before. Spent five days there, and it was outstanding Very reasonable price compared to the other hotels and guest houses near the inner city. It was easy to make a reservation using their website, and then calling for a follow-up to make sure they had everything we needed. Part of the time our daughter, son-in-law, and two-year-old grandson stayed there. They had an extra room with small kitchen and laundry. The baby could sleep in his tent in that room. Laundry was very useful. The guest house also has a laundry for general use if you dont have it in your room. Good location. Easy walk to St. Stephens Green and across it to Trinity College, Temple Bar, shopping, etc. Stop at the playground in the green for the baby. There is a pub on the canal just a block south of the B&B, and a restaurant there too. The breakfast was great – juice, cereal, pastries, cold cuts and hard boiled eggs, tomatoes and cucumbers. We will definitely stay there again on any trip to Dublin.
